Sechaba Nyenye* is a Mosotho contemporary visual artist born in Ficksburg, based in Lesotho, and the visionary behind *HOHA*. HOHA — meaning to breathe, to behold — is more than a style. It is a philosophy. Through flattened masks, reduced features, and the ever-present eye 👁️, Sechaba creates portals between the present and the ancestral realm. His work is grounded in the Basotho understanding that _Badimo_ are not gone; they walk with us, guide us, and watch where we look. Each HOHA painting is both minimal and charged.
